Responsibilities

  • Adapt and localize literary content for North American readers
  • Review and improve plotlines, character development, dialogue, pacing, and narrative flow
  • Evaluate novels, scripts, and other literary content for quality and readability
  • Support novel-to-script adaptation and script review tasks
  • Perform content labeling and other quality evaluation activities
  • Provide thoughtful feedback to improve the overall reader experience
  • Complete assigned work within the required timeline while maintaining high quality standards

Skills

  • Have lived, studied, or worked in North America for an extended period
  • Strong understanding of North American language, culture, idioms, and writing conventions
  • Excellent written English skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Creative writing, Novel writing, Screenwriting, Online literature, Short dramas, Comics, Short-form video storytelling, Editorial or literary content creation
  • Ability to analyze and improve narrative structure and storytelling
  • Available to complete the assignment as soon as possible
  • Familiarity with overseas short-drama platforms
  • Experience with AI data labeling, content moderation, model evaluation, or prompt writing
  • Chinese language proficiency
  • Experience adapting or localizing content for different audiences
  • Background in publishing, editing, journalism, or related creative industries
