Minimum qualifications include authorization to work in the U.S., ability to report and be ready to work at your assigned base within 2 hours, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently, age requirement of 21 years minimum, ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, possession and maintenance of a valid passport and equivalent travel documents, and meeting established standards, policies, laws and regulations including Federal Aviation Administration Regulations. Required knowledge, skills and abilities include exceptional customer service skills and abilities, at least one (1) year of customer service experience, ability to maintain a high level of personal decorum, professional conduct and personal appearance, ability to comply with our Professional Appearance Guidelines, familiarity with mobile handheld devices, and successfully completing four (4) weeks of Flight Attendant Initial Training and IOE, the Initial Operating Experience. Physical requirements include candidate height not exceeding 5\'11\" or 71.5 inches when measured without shoes, able to reach a minimum of 6\'3\" or 76 inches when measured without shoes, sit in any jumpseat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without a seatbelt extension, open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds and ability to push, pull, or move a beverage cart requiring approximately 32 pounds of force, hear and respond to customer and crew communications in situations with high background noise, work in aircraft aisles and galleys, while standing, reaching, walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, and working in cramped or awkward positions, sit or stand for long periods of time, and able to and willing to work in confined spaces and manage potential allergens such as nuts, perfumes, cleaning solvents, fumes, animals, and pet dander. Serve alcoholic beverages and meals containing beef, pork and seafood. Professional appearance requirements for flight attendants include covering visible tattoos with clothing or waterproof make-up, hair color must be a natural-looking hue, nails must be clean and trimmed, no longer than inch from fingertips, no neon or multi-colors, adornments, designs, glitter or chrome finish, professional attire is always a must, dresses and skirts should be at or below the knee in length, and accommodation process is in place to work with candidates requesting a specific manner of dress or physical appearance in keeping with religious beliefs or practices unless it creates a safety hazard or other undue burden on the company.
