Silver Air is excited to announce an opening for a Contract Cabin Attendant, a role designed to elevate our Part 91 and Part 135 flight services through unmatched professionalism, commitment, and luxury.

Department: Cabin Attendant

Location: Van Nuys

Compensation: $800 - $1,000 / day

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service on Silver Air\'s Part 91 and Part 135 flights by proactively anticipating and addressing guests\' needs.
  • Clearly communicate available amenities to guests and ensure a welcoming and positive experience throughout the flight, from boarding to farewell.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections of the galley, cabin, and crew areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness, and promptly communicate the status to the flight crew.
  • Collaborate effectively with the flight crew, adhering to Silver Air\'s high standards of service and professionalism as outlined in the "Cabin Attendant Handbook."
  • Manage catering orders and ensure all flight and guest necessities are tailored to each trip, maintaining a fully stocked and meticulously organized cabin.
  • Ensure safety and compliance remain a top priority, governing all in-flight activities and guest interactions.
  • Assist with the Initial Cabin Setup as needed to guarantee a luxury-ready environment for guests.

Qualifications

  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience as a Corporate Cabin Attendant in Part 135/91 operations is required.
  • Extensive expertise in high-end food and beverage preparation, plating, and service standards, with a strong focus on luxury presentation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an intuitive understanding of client needs, enabling the delivery of a personalized and seamless service experience.
  • Strong resourceful problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor, aligned with luxury service standards.

Specifically, candidates with two plus years of experience, who meet a high percentage of our job qualifications and exhibit excellence in their presentation and flexibility, may be considered for compensation close to the top of our range. This consideration will be adjusted slightly based on any gaps in meeting the full spectrum of qualifications. As this is a contract position, full-time benefits provided to Silver Air employees do not apply.
