JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a part-time, skilled Sandwich Artist/ Maker to join our team at our busy establishment. located in the LAS VEGAS AIRPORT. As a Sandwich Artist/ Maker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other food items to meet the high standards of our customers. This is a dynamic role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for food.

DUTIES:

  • Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to our recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and handling guidelines.
  • Operate a POS system to process orders as necessary, handle cash transactions, and manage inventory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services, including nutritional information and allergens.
  • Participate in inventory management and order supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage procedures.

SKILLS:

  • Food Prep & Assembly: Washing, slicing, and portioning meats and vegetables, and building sandwiches to exact customer specifications. (2yrs Experience)
  • Customer Service: Welcoming guests, answering menu questions, and upselling premium ingredients.
  • Sanitation: Cleaning and sanitizing utensils, food stations, and dining areas.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and occasionally lift up to 25-50 lbs.
  • Proficiency with basic math.
  • Experience working in the food industry or a grocery store.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.- Experience with cash handling and sales.
  • Familiarity with quick-serve restaurant operations and inventory management.
  • Culinary skills, with the ability to prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items.
  • A positive and friendly attitude, with a commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers.
  • You should also be able to work on your feet for the duration of your shift and be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

We are looking to fill full-time positions and must have open availability. Weekend availability and previous Sandwich Artist/ Maker experience are a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.37 per hour
