They are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive business growth by building strong relationships, identifying new leads, and promoting their services to prospective clients. Responsibilities Identify and pursue new lead sources to drive business growth Follow up on existing leads and prospects to nurture relationships Engage with prospective clients daily via phone, email, text, and in person Provide prompt and effective follow-up on all inquiries and lead communications Collect and document relevant information from prospective clients Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data within the company’s CRM system Evaluate accounts receivable and aging data to recommend suitable factoring options when applicable Maintain a competitive advantage throughout the sales process Negotiate pricing in accordance with company guidelines Work closely with sales management to adjust pricing and programs to close deals Prepare, send, and manage Factoring Services Agreements (FSAs) with potential clients Address any questions regarding pricing, services, and contract terms Collect, verify, and securely store required documentation from prospective clients Assess the company’s potential for winning new transactions Submit signed FSAs and initial invoices to the Documentation and Compliance team Track all sales opportunities through the CRM system from start to finish Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, ensuring accurate information is provided to clients and referral sources Assist with client inquiries and address their needs as they arise Stay current on industry trends, including trucking industry updates, competitor activities, and evolving sales techniques Skills Associate degree required, or equivalent combination of skills and experience Minimum of 1 year of direct sales experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related field Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Exceptional Interpersonal Skills Strong ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships Proven Relationship-Building Skilled at establishing trust and rapport with clients, particularly over the phone Results-Driven Demonstrated drive to meet and exceed monthly sales targets in a performance-based environment Resilience Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated to succeed Strong Communication Excellent oral and written communication skills Quick Learner Ability to rapidly grasp new concepts, tools, and processes Adaptability Thrive in a fast-paced, competitive inside sales environment and adapt to both proprietary and non-proprietary software Integrity and Professionalism Unwavering commitment to high ethical standards and professionalism Confidence and Persuasiveness Ability to confidently engage with customers and colleagues with tact and influence Team-Oriented Able to collaborate effectively while maintaining the ability to work independently Strong Work Ethic Dependable, diligent, and committed to achieving personal and team goals Knowledge of factoring or the transportation industry is a plus, but not required Previous experience using Salesforce CRM is a plus Benefits Sign-on and training bonus designed to support your transition and set you up for success from day one.
