Bentley Systems invites talented individuals to join their high-performance team of Project Delivery & Construction Product Sales Engineers. This role involves driving new sales of assigned brands into accounts and supporting users with Bentley software products, services, training, and cloud offerings to achieve business outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling Bentley’s solutions for project delivery & construction into both net new and existing users
  • Design and deliver sales campaigns and outcome based live sessions
  • Create effective business plans to prospect for net new business opportunities and drive sales in assigned territory to exceed quota
  • Expertly use LinkedIn and other social media means to engage prospects
  • Develop relationships at various levels including C-Level, VPs, Directors with target accounts through use of direct sales techniques and conduct virtual meetings
  • Develop a sales pipeline and forecast all revenue by effectively following sales process and managing all opportunities in CRM
  • Promote our value proposition to designers, engineers, contractors, and owners by providing technical solutions to help the customers meet or exceed business objectives
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all Commercial Offerings and Software Support Policies
  • Negotiate sales and/or service agreements
  • Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's solutions and services
  • This is an individual contributor role
  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week
  • This role requires communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and/or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions
  • 15% or less travel required
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements)

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, construction management, or a similar technical degree
  • Preferred minimum of one (1) year of experience within an engineering organization, construction firm, or selling engineering software
  • Prior experience working with solutions such as SYNCHRO 4D, ProjectWise (Bentley Infrastructure Cloud) and other similar applications such as Procore, P6, NavisWorks, Bexel Manager, is preferred
  • Experience with lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator preferred
  • Experience with the Salesforce, HubSpot or similar CRM preferred
  • Innate sense of curiosity, demonstrated continuous learner
  • Proactive, driven and accountable
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate activities
  • Excellent cross-collaboration skills with various internal departments
  • Ability to discuss product values, positioning, differentiation, and highlights
  • Creativity for developing campaign plans to drive new business
  • Ability to showcase the product through demonstrations, presentations, and canned videos if required
