Job Summary AudioCraft Media, a leading innovator in digital audio production, is seeking skilled and creative Remote Podcast Editors to join our dynamic freelance team. As a Podcast Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping high-quality audio content that engages, entertains, and informs listeners worldwide. Key Responsibilities • Edit and enhance raw audio recordings to produce polished, professional-sounding podcasts. • Clean up audio by removing background noise, filler words, and other imperfections. • Balance, mix, and master audio tracks for optimal clarity and listener experience. • Add intros, outros, transitions, and sound effects as required by the project. • Collaborate with podcast hosts, producers, and content creators to meet creative expectations and deadlines. • Maintain organized project files and manage multiple editing tasks simultaneously. • Stay updated with industry trends and audio editing techniques to continuously improve output quality. Required Skills and Qualifications • Proficiency in audio editing software (Audacity, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, Reaper, or similar). • Strong understanding of audio editing principles, including EQ, compression, noise reduction, and mastering. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, error-free audio. • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively. • Ability to work independently in a remote freelance setup. • Basic knowledge of podcast formats, storytelling, and audio branding is a plus.
