About the Role

A prestigious luxury retailer in Manhattan, recognized globally for its heritage in fine timepieces, is seeking a Luxury Retail Hostess/ Barista to support its in-store hospitality experience. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and elevated atmosphere for guests by providing exceptional service and maintaining a polished café environment within the boutique.

The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and comfortable working in a high-end retail setting where attention to detail and guest experience are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and create a refined, hospitality-driven experience
  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and light beverages to boutique guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and service areas
  • Assist with guest flow and hosting responsibilities within the boutique
  • Ensure service areas are well-stocked and presentation-ready
  • Provide a professional and engaging presence consistent with a luxury brand environment
  • Collaborate with boutique staff to ensure a seamless guest experience

Qualifications

  • Previous barista, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a luxury retail or hospitality environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional presentation and positive attitude
  • Ability to work at least 4 shifts per week, including weekends
  • Ability to remain composed and attentive in a fast-paced setting
