As a Financial Analyst, you'll partner with product, go-to-market, and operations teams to drive financial performance and inform strategic decisions that impact this innovative business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end profit and loss for Amazon Digital Signage, including budgeting, planning, reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Partner with product, go-to-market, and operations teams to track financial performance against targets and facilitate business growth.
  • Develop financial models and provide data-driven recommendations to support product scenario analysis and strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Lead automation initiatives for critical financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Day in the Life

In this role, you'll support Amazon Digital Signage by managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities that directly influence business strategy.

You'll work closely with product and operations teams to build financial models that guide scenario planning and help leaders make informed decisions.

Your day might include analyzing budget performance against targets, identifying cost-optimization opportunities, or automating financial processes to improve efficiency.

You'll also collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams across Amazon, presenting insights and recommendations that shape how the business evolves.

About the Team

We are a finance team supporting an emerging business within Amazon Lab126, an inventive research and development company designing and engineering high-profile consumer electronics. Our team works collaboratively with product, go-to-market, and operations leaders to ensure financial discipline while enabling business growth. We’re focused on building the financial foundation for Amazon Digital Signage as it scales, and we value team members who can think strategically, communicate clearly across functions, and take ownership of their work.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
  • 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
  • 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, CPA, or other advanced credentials.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA, USA.

Salary: $73,600.00 – $128,800.00 USD annually (base), with sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
