Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team, our Servers are ‘A’- type personalities with a comprehensive knowledgeable about all food and beverage items in the restaurant. You are willing to put in the work and best the best EVERDAY while adhering to the steps of service. You can answer all questions, provide recommendations, and create a positive fanatical guest experience. Our teams maintain a clean section and monitor food quality to ensure all items are held to Century Hospitality Groups presentation standards. Through knowledge, accuracy, and efficiency our servers provide the upmost satisfaction to our guests.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create a fanatical guest experience through interaction and adherence to The Parlour Italian Kitchen & Bar Steps to Service
  • Must be a team player with a BIG personality
  • Exemplary knowledgeable of all food and beverage items for making recommendations to our valued guests. WSET or I.S.G accreditation is a welcomed asset
  • Perfectionist in all things cocktail related and ability to perform under pressure
  • Communicate beverage descriptions, specials and information to guests and team members
  • Be well versed in wine varietals, base spirits and craft beer
  • Be aware and diligent of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
  • Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards
  • Monitor the cleanliness of section & bar plus ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems
  • Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
  • Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
  • You are positive and energetic

Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of serving experience in a fast paced, upscale casual dining or bar establishment
  • ProServe Certification a requirement
  • WSET or I.S.G certification is an asset
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and sales ability
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High level of product knowledge
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
