About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Business Execution Consultant to lead enterprise-scale account migration and data transformation initiatives within the Auto Division. This role is responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and successful delivery of highly complex programs that modernize platforms, migrate customer accounts, and transform data ecosystems supporting Auto servicing. This is a senior-most individual contributor role with enterprise influence, requiring deep expertise in large-scale migrations, data transformation, and cross-functional program leadership. The role partners closely with Auto leadership, Technology, Data, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to ensure initiatives are executed with precision, strong governance, and minimal customer and operational disruption. This role is critical to Wells Fargo Auto's modernization journey, leading initiatives that directly impact millions of customer accounts, core servicing platforms, and the integrity of enterprise data. Success requires a leader who can navigate complexity, mitigate risk, and deliver at scale, while enabling long-term transformation.

In this role, you will: Serve as a top subject matter expert leading the strategy and execution of large-scale account migration and data transformation programs Define and drive end-to-end migration strategy, including data conversion, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning Lead resolution of the most complex challenges related to data integrity, platform transitions, customer account onboarding, and operational readiness Deliver long-term, large-scale transformation solutions that enhance servicing capabilities, data quality, and operational efficiency Oversee and coordinate cross-functional execution across Technology, Data, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and third-party partners Establish and lead program governance, including executive steering committees, decision frameworks, and escalation management Evaluate program effectiveness by assessing root cause, financial impact, customer impact, and risk exposure, and provide updates to executive leadership Drive data accuracy and reconciliation standards, ensuring migrated data meets quality, regulatory, and business requirements Ensure alignment with regulatory expectations, risk management frameworks, and audit requirements, including control design and execution Influence and align senior leaders across multiple lines of business to drive timely decision-making and issue resolution Lead post-migration stabilization and optimization efforts, including defect remediation, process improvements, and lessons learned Provide thought leadership on migration best practices, data transformation strategies, and future-state operating models
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience managing large transformation programs Deep experience with account migrations, platform conversions, or servicing system transformations within financial services or auto finance Strong expertise in data migration processes, including mapping, conversion, reconciliation, and data validation Proven ability to lead high-risk, highly visible programs with enterprise-wide impact Experience working in regulated environments, with strong understanding of Risk, Compliance, and Audit requirements Advanced stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence executive leadership and drive alignment across complex organizations Strong program governance and large-scale initiative structuring capabilities Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presentations and storytelling Experience managing in a highly matrixed organization without direct authority
